N.E.W. Study Abroad Consulting offers high level study abroad programs tailored to the needs of people of all ages. The agency, based in Florence, Italy, and San Diego, California, collaborates with selected partners around the world, including prestigious American Universities and Colleges.

About Me
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to introduce my agency, N.E.W. Study Abroad Consulting.
My name is Irmtraut Friedl Bonelli (Irmy). I was born in Austria, but have lived and worked in Italy for many years. I have always had a passion for foreign languages, travel and networking.
As a High School teacher and University professor, I learned to discern and understand my students’ needs; this was the impetus for exploring and creating my own study abroad programs.
With 35 years of experience in the study abroad field, I founded N.E.W. 12 years ago. Based in Florence (Italy) and in San Diego CA (USA), N.E.W. offers study abroad programs tailored to the needs of people of all ages.
I work with accredited partner institutions and language schools that I have personally visited.
I aim to offer what I call “boutique” programs with personalized service, something that distinguishes N.E.W. from a large, one-size-fits-all travel agency and study abroad provider.
